Disposable Cell Phones, Anyone?

Have you heard about disposable cell phones? Yes, being developed is a mobile phone product that you can avail of from a dispensing machine – a cell phone that is already loaded with a certain amount of talk time.

It is still in the process of product development and refinement, and studies are also made if it is a viable cell phone product, with a sufficient market that is. Vending stations full of disposable phones will be distributed on strategic areas such as the bus and train stations, supermarkets and public locations.

The developers and manufacturers of these one-time usable communications devices are intended to be replacements for public pay telephones. They will also be made available at inexpensive prices.

One problem however with the device is that when you buy and use the cell phone and consume the allotted talk time, the unit is rendered useless. This means you have to purchase another one in order to continue with your conversation. Don’t you think this is a rather inconvenient for anyone, especially if you are into a very important call?

Besides, why disposable cell phones, when almost everyone already has their own. I think the more important product to be sold on vending machines are prepaid talk time cards, am I right?

Hopefully, with more studies and research on the disposable mobile phone by the manufacturers and producers, they may be able to determine if the product is indeed one of the more important communications gadget or not.
